Interestingly,
the site of one of the more recent archeological digs in London: info The project was initiated in 1991, but when James Stirling died unexpectedly, the project was taken over by his partner Michael Wilford. It was completed in 1998 and remains London's "post modern" flagship building. Sorry, a dismal day for photos... the interior atrium that was open to the public made me pine for my old 17mm wide angle lens. |
